Alex Jiao

Alex is an Electrical Engineering major. He has ineffably many hobbies and is part of the Underwater Robotics Team.

David Nguyen

David is a Mechanical Engineering major and is interested in the study of engineering and how it affects societies. He enjoys going to the gym with Jason, eating dinner with friends, playing video games, and indulging in the finest Japanese animation. He is an active member of Gemstone Student Council and Engineers Without Borders

Jason Ittner

Jason is an Electrical Engineering major and enjoys reading, gaming, and exercise. He is a gemstone camp leader and on the executive board of gemstone student council.

Christopher Hallock

Christopher is a a Fire Protection Engineering major. He is from Rockville, Maryland and is an active volunteer firefighter with the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department. He is involved with Gemstone Student Council. He loves sushi and his favorite TV show is Hawaii Five-O. He rides his unicycle around campus instead of a bicycle.

Alexander "Zander" Weatherford

Zander is a Computer Engineering student excited to expand his knowledge of technology. A member of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship on campus, Zander also loves to sing, write songs, play guitar, and foremost worship God. He is passionate about making a difference with technology, and hopes to spend his career engineering solutions to improve the lives of those in need. Zander is engaged to marry his high school sweetheart in 2017.

Karam Singh

Karam Singh is an electrical engineering major enrolled in UMD. He enjoys community service, participating in clubs such as Engineers without Borders. He also hopes to teach younger students and is currently a TA. In the future Karam hopes to use his Electrical Engineering major to better the world by teaching and serving those in need.

Nazifa Chowdhury

Nazifa is a Computer Science major. She is involved in Association of Women in Computing, bitcamp, and the Gemstome Student Council. In her free time, she likes to catch up on some netflix, watch soccer, and read.

Isaac Lee

Isaac Lee is a Computer Engineering major from Crisfield, Maryland. He is employed as a student IT technician at the Stamp Student Union. In his free time, he enjoys digital editing and rearranging furniture.
